NW Natural Launches Bill Discount Program for Washington Customers
Income-qualified customers can save 15-80% on monthly NW Natural bills

Washington customers with qualifying incomes are now eligible for NW Natural bill discounts between 15-80%.
The new program started Jan. 1, 2024, and provides ongoing, monthly help with NW Natural bills—on top of any other energy assistance customers may already be receiving from NW Natural or other agencies. Eligibility is determined by household size and annual gross income; discounts are available for customers with gross household incomes at or below 80% of area median income. In the first year of the program in Oregon, more than 37,000 customers are now enrolled and saving money on their monthly gas bills.
“With this program launched in Washington, we’re proud to make bill discounts available for all NW Natural customers with qualifying incomes,” said David Anderson, NW Natural CEO. “This will help ensure safe, affordable and comfortable homes for thousands of families.”
The bill discount program is funded by all customers as approved by state regulatory commissions in Oregon and Washington.
