We've made switching to natural gas affordable. When you bring natural gas to your home for the first time and convert your electric or oil home heating system to a new high-efficiency natural gas furnace and central air conditioner, you could get up to $2,600 back. Restrictions apply. See below for details.

Existing customers can get up to $1,800 back when upgrading to a high-efficiency natural gas furnace installed by a NW Natural Preferred Contractor. Restrictions apply. See below for details.

Incentives may include an Instant Invoice Credit from the NW Natural Preferred Contractor who installs your system, NW Natural, Energy Trust of Oregon Savings Within Reach discounts (OR customers only) and Energy Trust rebates available based on the equipment you install and program eligibility. Oregon and Washington

New Oregon customers

Incentives include:

$800 incentive when a NW Natural Preferred Contractor installs the new gas furnace or boiler
$1,000 incentive when a NW Natural Preferred Contractor installs the new gas furnace PLUS central air conditioner
$1,600 incentive* for a 95% or higher AFUE gas furnace for eligible moderate income households, courtesy of the Energy Trust of Oregon Savings Within Reach Trade Ally Contractor
$1,600 incentive** for a 95% or higher AFUE gas furnace for eligible owners of single family rental properties, courtesy of the Energy Trust of Oregon Trade Ally Contractor

Oregon customers served by PGE or Pacific Power may also be eligible for a $250 incentive, courtesy of Energy Trust of Oregon, for purchase and installation of a central air conditioner with a minimum EER of 12 or higher and a minimum SEER of 16.

All offer amounts above include a NW Natural rebate of $500. New NW Natural customers who install more than one piece of qualifying equipment from other offers and appliances can only receive one $500 NW Natural rebate. All other incentives and rebates still apply for each offer based on eligibility requirements. Open to new NW Natural customers only. NW Natural incentives listed here are only available for homeowners of existing homes (no new construction) or eligible owners of single family rental properties.

*Energy Trust of Oregon incentives are only available for homeowners of existing homes (no new construction) and only when a natural gas furnace is used as the primary heating source (not available when used as back-up heat for a heat pump system). Savings Within Reach eligible households must install a 95% or higher AFUE natural gas furnace to qualify for the additional $1,600 incentive. To qualify for the maximum NW Natural offered incentives you must use a NW Natural Preferred Contractor to install a natural gas furnace and central air conditioner.
